About Me

I'm Michael Palacios, I am an aspiring photojournalist and reporter with a passion for capturing stories that matter. With a strong background in news production, video production, and newsprint writing, I bring both technical expertise and a creative eye to every project. I hold a FAA Part 107 drone license, allowing me to explore perspectives from above and add dynamic visuals to my storytelling.

My experience ranges from producing live broadcasts at UCentral News to collaborating on multimedia projects at OU Nightly. While serving as Photo Editor for 15th Street News and The 6420 Magazine, I curated compelling visual content and ensured high-quality media for print and digital platforms. As well as interning at Oklahoma's News 9 as a photo-journalist

I can work independently to meet set goals or with others. I thrive in collaborative environments, believing that the best stories are told through teamwork. Regardless I am dedicated to delivering impactful journalism. I’m excited to continue growing as a storyteller — both behind the lens and through the written word.

Let’s connect and explore the stories waiting to be told.
